ARROW COATED PRODUCTS ( GTS-3) - UPDATE

Arrow Coated product is one stock introduced to my readers through GTS-3 at Rs.12 . Today stock hits its life time high and currently locked in upper circuit @ Rs.460.55. At current price , stock multiplied by more than 38  times  in less than 1.5 years . Nowadays, receiving lot of mails from my readers seeking an opinion about the strategy on this stock after this sharp run up.As I mentioned in my posting itself , this is one unique company holding many patents and now company started to commercialize its technology through its Arrow Care  Division.Since the company declaring its consolidated numbers only on a full year basis , at present it is difficult to take a call only on the standalone numbers . Those having  below average risk appetite may sell  50 % of original holding ( Selling 50 % itself will give 20 times return at CMP) and keep the remaining for long term. Now the company decided to list in NSE too .

  6. The company had these patents since last 6-7 years and was using them asbwell but the price was subdued all this while then why such a sudden spike ? Also its selling at 85-90 p/e, does it still hold the same steam ?

    1. From where you got the P/E figure. Last year its EPS were Rs.13.48 .Is it trading now @ Rs.1145 to assign a P/E of 85 ?

And you rightly recommend to hold time to time which helped the small investor to keep long on this stock. And as my friend Avinash mentioned above you have changed life of many people's like us for the better. Thanks Pradeep

    1. It seems someone played for short term caught on the wrong foot and now in a panic mood to exit . If you are a long term investor with enough patience you can start to buy in different lots if it hits one more 10 % down circuit. If the short term players are in hurry to exit at any rate , we can't say upto which rate any stock can come .But there is no meaning in trying to time the market and we can start buying when value emerges. To get the stock at an average rate , try to buy in lots rather than buying in one go.

  12. Hi.. I really don't understand why you don't allow queries where you have gone totally wrong Mr. VP. Have repeatedly been trying to ask you about your old recos Jain Irrigation and Crompton Greaves but you're not allowing.

Hope this time it is posted.

    1. Didn't understand what do you mean by 'totally wrong ' . Crompton is a stock suggested @ Rs.90 about one year back and it is now around Rs.180 after hits a high of Rs.231 . If 100% appreciation is a 'total failure' please avoid this blog , this is not for people like you who need more than that over night.

In case of Jain irrigation or any other stock , it is practically impossible to reply on a one to one basis every time. Before posting queries ,try to check whether the same question answered to anyone in recent past .

    2. Dear Mr Prakash,
First and foremost if you are really interested in this blog, please read with some care and attention. And dont expect each and eevery recommendation will fetch return. Even fifty per cent sucess itself is a good state of affairs in stock market. To be frank in this site things are positive more than the above percentage. Try to understand about ourselves before blaming others. A regular reader.
