AVANTI FEEDS - BUY

I have recommended a BUY on AVANTI FEEDS  @ Rs.68 on September13,2011.(Old Posting HERE) .Subsequently recommended to book profit from  it @ 203 for a re-entry below Rs.150 ( Link HERE) .Now stock corrected substantially and currently trading around Rs.109 . Requesting to re-enter now and HOLD the same for long term

    1. Problem of vulcan is lower order flow due to no capex happening in sectors like power ,steel..etc.

  10. Sir, could you guide on this.
Based on SEBI guidelines about 75% promoter holdings, do you think even companies like Coal India, NHPC would have to dilute government's stake? If it is so, due to oversupply, there would be huge downward pressure in the stock price of these companies and general market.

    Am I missing something?

  12. Sir,
don't you think its better to buy Granules then Nile as the rates are almost the same and many are invested in it from 140 levels?

Would it be better to buy the same stock instead of adding more?

    Pls guide sir.

    1. Not sure on the basis of what parameters we can compare a pharma company with a commodity type business.Market perception towards a metal stock and pharma stock is always different and hence no meaning in comparing different companies only on the basis of its market price .

      http://value-picks.blogspot.in/2012/03/kennametal-india-book-partial-profit.html

Now they came down substantially .These stocks are related with engineering/auto/capital goods industry which is very sensitive to over all industrial growth .There are led by good managements and I believe there will outperform once our economy turn around.

  20. Company's higher debt level and working capital issues are points to note .Management claiming they are taking every effort to address this issues .Till we get some clues about the effectiveness of their efforts ,it is only for very high risk investors.

  25. I am positive on this company for long term. When panic is the buzz word stock prices may reach at irrational level .In these kind of market ,no one can say that a stock will not break a certain price level .There is very low participation from retail investors hence the market depth is very poor in mid caps .If some one in a hurry to sell just 5000 shares it may crash 20 % .Those with money and courage can utilise such opportunities selectively ,but should not panic on notional losses .Many people deciding to exit completely from market now and from my experience that is the biggest blunder one can do .This same people will come back only when the market at peak and commit the same mistake again. This is the time to include quality stocks and weed out weak one's from our portfolio and not the time to run away.Good company's will always sail through and give good return for us.
