Hi Sir,
ReplyDeleteWhat are your views on Mirza international. Seems like a company with huge potential. Foreign exposure should be beneficial given the weakening of the rupee.
Do let me know if there are any risks that I am overlooking.
Thanks,
Anand
Not tracking Mirza ,Generally this sector commanding low P/E
DeleteFrom Oil and refinery which one shall i pick -either Indraprastha gas or cairn india?
ReplyDeleteI prefer Cairn ,but regulatory risk is always higher in this sector
DeleteDear valuepick,
ReplyDeleteWhats your present view on heritage foods. I have invested 1 lakh at 525 per share. It is better to exit or hold?
I don't think there is any negative happened in case of Heritage.
DeleteDear vpji
ReplyDeleteDo you track Rakesh jhunjhunwalas portfolio ... Most of the mid caps he had invested in are facing problem with cooperate governance issues or capex problem .. How can such a big investor make so many blunders ??
Situation of our economy itself is very tough for the past few years. As far as my understanding, earlier the stock selection was done by himself and later he started a firm and appointed others to do the work .If we check the history ,many of the stocks added in his portfolio in recent times performing poorly and at the same time his old stocks like Lupin,Rallis,Titan..etc are still strong .I doubt whether the last word in stock selection is still him or not ..
DeleteSir,
Deletethanks for exactly telling to the point analysis of the stocks thank you ....
Rahul
sir, what your view about sequent pharma ? Pramoter buying warrents 172/-
ReplyDeleteWarrant subscribed earlier and now they are converting into shares at a price of Rs.172.No change in my previous view on this stock , but only for investors with patience and above average risk.
DeleteHello Sir ,
ReplyDeleteWhat is ur opinion on HC Sector?
Wockhardt,Lupin,Cadila,Omkar ?
Prefer Lupin and Sun from large pharma space.
DeleteDear Sir, what is your opinion on Elder Pharma?
ReplyDeleteReports saying that the promoters are planning to sell the company .If they sell the entire company thet will be good for its minority share holders ,but if they sell only their few good brands, normally benefit will be minimum for minority share holders.
DeleteDear VP sir,
ReplyDeletecan I buy Dishman Pharma @cmp for long ter? Pls suggest.
Abir
Prefer Granules over Dishman
DeleteWhats is your view on sujana towers
ReplyDeleteNot positive.
DeleteDear Sir , whats your view on Wockhardt in the current scenario, for a long term investment ?
ReplyDeletesir,
ReplyDeletemarket looks pretty much like 2001 -2004 time, nobody interested in buying any smallcaps and most of them are available dirt cheap, uncertainity for next bull run is a question but is it the best time for the investment?
if we consider ruppee depreciation against dollar compared to 2008 price of 40rs/dollar then sensex is available for 13k at 2008 dollar rate - what is your thoughts?
thanks Prasanth.
Dear valuepick,
ReplyDeleteWhen would the PCA stocks for the next quarter be announced?
would it be in the first week of July?
would an investor have time to exit from a particular stock incase it is included in PCA before it starts to trade via the PCA mechanism?
I don't think only we are smart and all others are fools :)
Deletewhats wrong with India Gelatine ..Every fundamental ratio appears perfect. is there anything serious not available in public domain,
ReplyDeleteWe all feel only the stocks we have investment is coming down. But in reality only a handful index stocks are performing and all others are coming down due to one reason or other. In the case of mid/and small caps , a big culprit is PCA .Investors are willing to exit at any cost from such stocks and not intersted to buy even good small cap stocks trading out of PCA only because of the possibility of inclusion in the next round.Really a painful situation and it is the time of players in F&O with deep pockets.Unfortunately SEBI is also doing nothing to favour investors .Stock Exchanges and brokers are also interested only in encouraging F & O to increase their own income and not bothered about investors.
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteWhat is your view on TATA steel...its way down now...is it time to buy more?
Many metal stocks corrected sharply .Demand from China and uncertainity in govt's mining policy, revival of construction sector ..etc are the main factors deciding the trend.Long term investors may SIP from current level.
DeleteValue Pick Ji,
ReplyDeleteNeed you advice on the below announcement by SABERO ORGANICS.Didn't understand the notice as such.
"Sabero Organics Gujarat have issued notices to all shareholders who have not paid the first & final call money of Rs 6/- per share, to pay the same to the Company within the stipulated time, along with the interest due thereon and their failure to do so it would result in forfeiture of the shares."
Thanks
Arun KP
This is regaring the balance payment of call money. At the time of IPO ,company collected just Rs.4 at application out of its FV 10 .Many people may still there who are not paid the balance amount, and company giving one more chance to pay the balance . Shares now trading in stock exchanges are fully paid up and this announcement have no effect on it.
DeleteThanks for the reply - so this announcement is only for those who brought the share through IPO.
DeleteParekh Aluminex had posted net profit of 28 crores in Sep 12 quarter & suddenly came up with loss of 300+ crores in the Dec 12 crores. What is your view ? Is this case of fradulent financial books here or what might be the reason for such a -ve growth ?
ReplyDeleteI believe there was some adjustments done in accounts during the tenure of former MD of this company ,who died recently.
DeleteDear VP,
ReplyDeleteDoes VA Tech have seasonality effect in its results? I saw that Q4 is the best result this year and in 2012. Other quarters are just a fraction of Q4.
Best Regards,
Shankar.
Companies depending govt orders showing the same trend ,always .
ReplyDeleteAlthough number for last quarter ended June 2013 are not that encouraging i feel one should add below 380/385 this stock in small qty.
