  2. VPji,

Do you suggest fresh entry to Anjani Portland?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anjani Portland suggested around Rs.35 .But thereafter many important developments happened in it including the takeover by Chettinad Cement group. Though the risk level increased , I believe still enough steam left in it for long term investors . Company now planning to reduce debt through a rights issue .

  7. Dear Sir,

The Promoters' holding in Nath Bio Genes came down from 47.82% as on 30.06.2015 to 45.01% as on 30.09.2015.But there were no disclosures of sale by promoters during the quarter. Moreover the results are also bad.Do we need a relook at the investment.I am not holding any shares in Nath Bio Genes, but looking to acquire some.

    Regards,
    Manish

    1. About two months back , I replied in detail about the changing prospects of seed industry in general and requested to take a cautious approach due to more than one reasons , including state government's decision to implement price cap for seeds, adverse weather conditions, royalty payment issues..etc,etc. These issues are applicable to all listed companies at different degree of impact . These changes in business fundamentals may impact negatively all companies and hence I am not very positive as in the past in case of whole stocks from seed sector.

Regarding IVP. I looked into books and found that there is initial signs of turn around. It would help if you could guide about business growth prospectus. I am anyways going to read AR this weekend.

As you are aware , the user industries are going through a tough time and it will certainly impact the company .Considering this , result was not bad and let us hope for an improvement once the economy start to show momentum.
